Is this normal

I'm 20 days after my emergency c section my bleeding stopped on sunday and today a walked to the shop and back and when I went to the toliet I passed a clot and have since had red bleeding again

Is this normal why would this happen

I'm getting so down was finally feeling normal now back red bleeding again

Has anyone had this happen how long did it stay again
Should I even be passing clots at this point

Any advice help be great

Yes- it happened to me. Sudden and heavy loss of blood and clots. Right through my jeans, on to the kitchen floor. I felt faint and sick.
It stayed heavy for a further week. The clots weren’t huge though. I googled it at the time and as long as the clots do not smell foul and the pain isn’t unbearable (just like normal period aches) then it’s normal. Hopefully someone else will come on to advise.

I tended to find that I'd start bleeding again when I'd done too much that day - so I'd take it as a sign to take it easy.

Yes my bleeding stopped and started, with small gushes of fresh blood - particularly if I was being active. Be careful of clots though - never hurts to give the doctor a call. I'm 6 weeks postpartum now and bleeding/discharge seems to have properly stopped over the last week.

It’s a sign you’ve been doing too much and your body needs to rest.
