C section trouble anyone any advice please

I had an emergency c section 19 days ago and last week it began leaking fluid my stomach was really tight and hard the doctor said it was fluid left inside me think a seroma
It's been leaking a good bit of has died down but I'm having to wear pads on it
My midwife is back out tomorrow to dress it and I'm getting more antibiotics

Has anyone else had this how long did it last I'm getting so down this is my first baby and my time is being ruined with all this feel like I'm getting worse instead of better
I'm also still bleeding which I thought would have stopped
Any advice would be great thank you

Didn’t want to read and run. I had emergency csec back in May and I got an infection in my scar, was overdoing things (so true you really have to take it super easy as major abdominal surgery), also had a hole! Had to have video conference with doctor and antibiotics which did help but it did still weep for quite a while after whilst the hole eventually closed by itself. Best advise keep it as clean and dry as possible. I used to clean mine with salt water and place some kitchen towel over the the scar (sort of tucked it under the overhang!) I defo also felt like I was going backwards instead of forwards for a while so I do understand. I bled heavily for two weeks after then very lightly for ages about 8 weeks I think. Had a few weeks break then got my first period lol so that all felt like it took ages. But it will all eventually heal and go back to normal, promise. Hang in there! X
