With my first child my waters broke and then I got the contractions. Will it be the same this time around or will I get contractions first?

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and wondering if it will be same 2nd time around.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Had 3 - all very different!

No 1 - 3 days before due date waters broke, labour did not start for another 12 hours then lasted over 24 hours. Epidural and ventouse.

No 2 - 10 days late. Had a false labour when 3 days overdue - convinced I was in labour, kept hubby home etc then all fizzled out about 5 hours later! Finally on 10th day overdue started contractions about lunchtime, called hubby home and got to hospital about 3ish - dd2 born in birth pool about 2 hrs later.

No 3 - 12 days over - induced but was not too bad - still able to have water birth but was v quick - all over and done within 3 hours of first contraction!

My second labour was utterly unlike my first.

Was hoping that wouldn't be the case, even though last time I ended having an emergency c section it was a 'nice' way of labour starting, nice and gradual and no doubt about what was going to happen. Plus I had my 1st at 37 weeks. I feels as though I'm just spending my time waiting to go into labour

Pretty similar. Both started with waters breaking. Both over and done with within four and a half hours of first twinge. BUT, second was much less painful.
