40+5 is this a positive sign?

Hi all, I'm 40+5, have low risk pregnancy, had a scan last week all is good, baby is normal size, etc etc. I haven't had any signs of labour yet, no show nothing. Yesterday I had some Braxton Hicks in the evening, a bit more energy and nesting today despite sleeping poorly. Today I had a very tight belly for hours this evening and on top Braxton Hicks every 10 min for about an hour, feels like mild period pain coming and going. Do you think I can be hopeful that things might start soonish? Also tried to feel my cervix but it's so high up I can't reach. I really hope the babe is out naturally within a week! What do you think? Does it look like prelabour starting?

Yes it does sound like it could be early stages of labour! Hope it all goes well for you and baby.

Went to see the MW looks like it's indeed the latent phase. Fingers crossed all progresses well
