Starting to lose hope, baby was practically fully engaged at 39 weeks and sometimes when walking etc felt like baby was pushing on my cervix, but in the last week I haven't really felt any low pressure at all even when bouncing on the ball etc. Even my Braxton Hicks have been less. I have a sweep booked at 41+2 and then midwife will contact the induction team but I'm sick of every day passing and nothing, no signs.

Anyone else waiting? 😒

@OrDis
I feel like I’m reading my own thoughts!
I’m still in quite a lot of pain too. It feels v bruised and tight in some places. Uncomfortable to sit in certain positions, even on a cushion etc.
I haven’t tried it but I’ve heard lavender in the bath can be good if you can bear to sit in it. I have been bathing in plain water, but sort of resting on the base of my back rather than sitting up. Also been standing with the shower head in a compromising position in addition to that at a different time of day.
I also got some ‘spritz for bits’ which I would highly recommend - been spraying that on me and on pads.

My midwife said that pelvic floor exercises can also help healing. They still hurt me to do them and I don’t feel like I’ve got much control but she just said maybe do some short ones now and then to keep testing the water.
Hope you start feeling better soon. Also hope that you have been managing to settle in with your new addition!

I'm 41 weeks today, desperate to get the baby out. Anyone else is still waiting?
