C section during Covid restrictions

Does it make any difference to discharge time? I guess probably not as it depends on wellbeing of newborn and mother and any complications. Just really hoping for discharge as quickly as possible (obviously will follow advice though) to get back to DC1, especially as they won't be able to visit and possibly nor will DH if looking after her

I had an emergency c-section three weeks ago and we were both discharged 17 hours later.

I had an emergency c section 11 days ago and I was in for four days due to complications.

I had a C Section last week and it was 10.40pm when it was done. I was discharged at 7.30pm the next day.
I did ask to go home as they wanted to keep me an extra day so they monitored me and baby very carefully during the day before they made the decision.
As me and baby were doing well they had no problem with me going home but I was given a strict talking to, to make sure they knew I had the proper support at home and that I wouldn't set myself back by going home.
