I was induced at 5.30am this morning and I'm still sitting here!!!! 😭😭😭 I'm a FTM.
Getting contractions every 3-7 minutes though not crippling and I've been told they won't examine again until tomorrow and then they are going to shove me on a drip!
Whilst my midwives are lovely, I'm all alone and so unimpressed! My poor DH is camped out at a local hotel as he doesn't drive and it's too far to go home!
Rant over!

Once the babies there you'll forget all about it. But I know it's not nice! It took me 3 days from induction to birth. Download a few programmes, read a book, try and relax!! It's also v exciting!! Congrats X

Fingers crossed things get moving for you soon and your partner can join you 🤞. I was induced with my first baby and I was on the labour ward for 3 days before I finally got taken to delivery on the 4th morning. Still took ds 14 hours to arrive! Inductions can take time depending on how favourable your cervix etc is. Have you got things to distract yourself with? I'll be getting induced again on thursday night with ds2 and I'm dreading it taking days again!

Been there done that, it's worth it I promise Thanks

Don’t let them put the drip on without an epidural! Trust me!
Good luck

Yeah, it can take quite a while with inductions. I hope it speeds along quite quickly for you. Oxytocin helps the cervix dilate (happy hormone) so try to relax and feel happy (hard as that is). Look at pictures of cute things, watch feel-good films if you've got something to watch them on. Good luck!

Yes about the drip and epidural, never had the drip but know I few that did!

My actual labours were very short it was just getting It started that took days some time.

Hi ladies. So my lil man arrived via C Section at 10.41pm last night weighing 7lb 12oz!
It was quite a traumatic afternoon and evening yesterday and total time from my waters breaking to him getting here was 61 hours!!!! 😫😫😫
However, he's perfect and I'm so happy! Just hoping I get to go home today so me
And DH can be together as a little family 🥰🥰🥰
