FTM - 40+2

Hello,

I'm FTM and I had a stretch and sweep 2 days ago (40 weeks) and I was 1cm dilated but I've assumed that this has failed as nothing has happened.

So I have been drinking raspberry leaf tea since 37 weeks (1-2 cups per day) and since 39 weeks (3 cups per day).

I'm using exercise ball probably 2 hours per day and moving around the house.

Sex is few and far between due to my size and the fact I am shattered.

Any other recommendations to get this baby out? I really don't want to be induced :(

All I can suggest is just relax as much as poss - I was the same as you, doing everything to get baby out. Looking back I wish I just sat on the sofa and relaxed ready for the (good) chaos! Baby will come when they’re ready x

I can personally attest that none of the old wives tales work. Sleep, watch crap TV, get as much rest as you can. My DS arrived 40+6.
