6 weeks postpartum and heavy bleeding

Hi all

I have birth 6 weeks ago, my lochia turned yellowish last week however then suddenly the last few days I've been experiencing heavy bleeding where my sanitary towel gets full within an hour. Has anyone experienced this postpartum and what should I do. Thanks in advance

Please go see about this, I are u psssinb clots? I had this recently at 3 weeks pp and turned out was a womb infection and retained clots- needed to stay in hospital for treatment . Please get looked at - could also be your period?

I would try Nd get seen ASAP.

I phoned my women's hospital they said I'm no longer in their remit and said I need to contact my gp. I will be trying to get an appointment tomorrow. I did previously get a swab done at the hospital before the heavy bleeding started as I was passing large clots. They didn't get back to me so I'm assuming it wasn't anything abnormal. I'm just worried about the heavy bleeding.
