I had a csection 13 months ago now and just recently my scars been itching me like crazy, I honestly don’t know how I haven’t opened it. Tonight’s been awful, I’ve itched that bad the scars all red and swollen, there’s bruising too from yesterday and the day before. It’s soo painful at the moment and below the scar so just below bikini line I’ve managed to cause a great big red lump from scratching. I know I’m not helping the situation but I just can’t stop scratching it itches so bad I can’t function most of the time.
Soo....has anyone experienced similar? How do you make it stop?

Sounds like it has become keloid

Years ago after a mole removal my scar became like that and I got one of these plasters - massively helped flatten and heal it.

You can also buy a lot of silicone gels now for scars. But with it being older and the fact you will cover it - might just stop you scratching

Though don’t put it on if of looks infected at all.
