Sex after c-section

I had an emergency c-section at 36+2 which was 11 days ago. I know you’re supposed to wait 6 weeks until you have sex again but is that set in stone? I had it today... is that bad?? How long did you all wait? Should I not have it again?

it is not 6 weeks, its whenever you feel ready. Preferably when your bleeding has stopped too. You need to think about precautions too as fertility can return as soon as 21 days after birth

As above, whenever you are ready. I think we were 2 weeks post c section.
