37 weeks today and as I am technically considered “full term”, I am starting to wonder when things will start... I know most women go into labour at 40+ weeks but was curious to know what your experience was with spontaneous labour.
Thank you!

1st dc, labour started 40+4, pinging away in my back. Ds finally put in an appearance with the help of forceps at 40+6

Day before my due date, gave birth the next day.

First labour, contractions started 39+6 but he didn't arrive until 40+5. A very long, back to back labour that did luckily end in a natural delivery without assistance. It was exhausting!!

35 weeks now with number 2 and hoping this one is a LOT quicker! :D

DC1 - it didn't (inducted at T+12)
DC2 - week 40

38 weeks exactly. My waters broke dramatically as I got up to go to the loo!

My waters broke at exactly 37 weeks and baby was born the next day. I was going to be induced at 38 weeks but he couldn't wait. I still had to be induced though 😳

36 weeks. Best of luck for a safe and happy birth experience!

38 weeks exactly

40 weeks 5 days

The second one felt very late as I was expecting her to arrive at 38 weeks like #1!

Middle of week 39 with DS1 waters went at 10.30pm. Born in hospital dry land at 17.01 next day. Home by 10pm.
End of week 38 with DS2. Waters went at 5 am. Born in hospital pool at 16.23 that day.
Home by 10pm.

I was v lucky thats why I stopped at 2!

First at 39. Second remains to be seen.
