I had a planned cesarean with my first due to baby being breach, I've opted for a VBAC this time as that's what I wanted last time.

Could you please share your experiences?

I ended up with exactly the same labour (4days), position of baby (back to back stargazer) and csection. It was the hardest time of my life, both making the decision during my pregnancy not to have an elective, but also obviously during those long four days I was home with contractions and no sleep but making no progress. I would say I was unbelievably proud afterwards to have gone through what I did. I also had the knowledge that I’d tried and that there was nothing I could have done differently to change the outcome to that birth or my first (clearly a pelvic issue that dictates weird positioning of baby). But was it worth all that anguish and exhaustion? I have opted for an elective this time needless to say!
