What would you do next? Induction and no progress

I’ve been in since Sunday. 2 propess/pessaries and still only 2cm and cervix high.
I’m so fed up! I already have 2DC at home who keep asking where I am and when I’m coming back.
Can’t go for a walk due to COVID restrictions so stuck on my own without DH.
Second propess had to be removed as it had slipped and I had a reaction in my vagina where it felt like it had been hit with a sledgehammer. Contractions were hyper stimulating to 5 in 10. Once MW checked me she realised the propess had slipped and wasn’t where it should have been anyway. Rested overnight but now no contractions and I feel like I’m going to be pregnant forever.
Seeing Dr later to discuss options but I just want my baby here and to go home.
What would you do next? MW suggested they might offer rods to stretch my cervix or another 24hr pessary. If nothing works then c section.
I just feel so deflated

Good luck OP!

Like I said before, I had my waters broken and it was much better than induction drugs! Ended up being a super easy birth. It's not painful at all, you hardly feel it besides the liquid (kind of like pee....)

Be aware that after a few hours (12?? Don't remember) you have to go into CSection because it can be dangerous for the baby.

All the best!Smile

Went to check (I am 6 months pregnant!...... might need it again)

It's 24hr, usually.

Well it all ended in a c section anyway!

I had the ARM and things started off well. Drip got going and I was in established labour about 2:30pm. All suddenly changed and I felt I needed to push. Pushed and pushed and pushed but he wasn’t moving. MW checked and I was only 9cm!

Dr came in to try and move the last lip of cervix but it wasn’t budging. I was pushing as hard as I could but by this point I was totally exhausted and mentally finished.

Begged them to just get him out and at one point I considered just leaving - no idea how I thought I was going to manage that.

Epidural was put in and I was like a new woman! Told them I wanted the section but dr insisted on checking me and that if I was 10cm I could get the baby out myself. I wasn’t.

He was born via a very calm but very weird section. Dr admitted that there was no way I could’ve delivered him myself as he was back to back and in a funny position with his held tilted!

I wish I had gone for the elective from the outset but if he had been in a good position then it would’ve been much more straightforward.

Officially never having a baby again!

Thank goodness they’re so cute when they come out.

Thanks for all the support everyone
