When did your second baby arrive?

My first arrived at 36 weeks and currently 33 weeks pregnant with no.2. Just curious for a very unscientific poll about when peoples second (and subsequent) babies arrived?
Midwives obvs can't tell me if I'll have another early one but just wondering if having one birth a bit early means it's more likely in future.

My second arrived a couple of days over 40 weeks. My first bang on 40 weeks.
Second birth much easier and quicker as well.

My first was 5 days early and my second 5 days late. Second was a nice easy fast labour though. Arrived at hospital at 3.45 and he was with us by 5.45.

1st at 41+5
2nd at 39+4

1st was induced, was a whopper, and took ages
2nd started naturally, was smaller and was quicker

First baby 39+5, second baby 40+2.

For some reason I thought second babies generally arrived earlier so I was very annoyed to go past my due date!

DC1 10 days late
DC2 5 days late

If I'd had a third maybe it would have arrived on time!?

1st 38+1
2nd 38+3

1st 37 weeks - took about 12 hours
2nd 39 weeks - took about 4.5 hours

I had the same due date with both.

First was born at 38+ 6
Second was born at 40+2. While only official 2 days overdue, I'd felt over due from the moment I hit number 1's birthday.

First on due date, 23 hour labour
Second 4 days past due date, 1 hour labour

First- 41+4 (9lbs)
Second- 37+4 (10lbs 4oz, god knows what size she would have been at full term)

First 42+2
Second 40+6

When they were induced at 42+3

All 4 had to be forcibly evicted 🙄

Mine arrived 4 days after due date

1st 34+5
2nd 35+1

1st 36 weeks
2nd 34+4

Wow thanks everyone, good to hear about so many easier second births.

@Gin4thewin and @sw19999 making me think maybe another early arrival is on the cards. Do you know why yours came a bit early?

1st: 00:36 at 37+0 weeks
2nd: 23:55 at 36+6 weeks
So basically exactly the same, just laboured a little bit longer with dc1.

@Jellybella- not really. The midwife just said I had early babies! I was a bit more prepared second time around!

@sw19999 yes my bag is already packed this time, just in case!

Both my girls were impatient lol!

1st 37+4
2nd 37+2

My second was born at 39 weeks exactly.

My first was born 39+4 (contractions started at labour started at 39+2).

Nothing definite, it was mentioned when pregnant with DS i had a bicornuate uterus but never looked more into it, although i dont think its that bad. I had a slight water infection with him and waters just broke, had to be induced. Absolutely no reason with Dd, had bloody show and went into labour naturally as if I was term. I fully believe it saved her though. She had a twisted bowel and it took 4 days to pick up at hospital so if we'd gone straight home, i think it would of been too late. I knew both would be early and was packed and ready to go by 30weeks.

First 37+4 so was convinced it would be similar for second- even started Mat leave earlier only for second to wait until 39+5!

A week overdue.

36 weeks for both of mines. Spontaneous labour both times.
