Is this normal with c section recovery?

I had an elected c section 6 weeks ago. Two inches above the scar is still tender to touch. Having clothes rub on it feels horrible, I have to wear close fitting over the bump knickers otherwise its really uncomfortable. I don't remember this with my first emergency c section. Has anyone else had this? How long did it last?

Thanks

Is it like a burning sensation?

No it doesn't sting or burn like an infection.
Its more like when you cut your nails too far back and it feels very sensitive to touch. Its a bit fuzzy feeling. Its still quite swollen.

I had something like that after my second section too but now I'm fine at 6 months play partum. Give it some time, the nerves need time to connect again and heal

Yes it’s normal. They have cut through millions of nerve endings. Four years later I have a weird sensation around my scar. It’s tender but also numb. If I do any core work outs I can feel it tugging.
