Hi, just reaching out seeing how many ladies got sent home during the latent phase and how long it lasted etc . Just wanna hear some experiences ❤️
I'm in latent phase, I'm at home waiting to progress. I've been told my cervix is 1cm dilated and my cervix has shortened. I'm aware this can last for days and every pregnancy is different just wanted to see what everyone else has experienced xx

Hi
Didn’t want to leave you answered. I went into labour on the Sunday evening with regular contractions but quite far apart...still going but no progression on the Wednesday, had a pessary induction as was 41+6, went into active labour late that night, active labour/birth was about 14 hours, so gave birth Thursday afternoon. So latent/early labour was 3 full days. My only advice is to go for walks/do all the on all fours exercises/bouncing on the gym ball to try & get things moving, but also rest as much as you can in case it’s a long slog. Good luck! x

Ha, I should have said this was 2.5 years ago! 27 weeks with number 2, hoping this time is a bit shorter. I’ve had friends where from first contraction to baby is less than 12 hours, sounds so dreamy 😁 Hope you don’t have too much longer to wait x
