Im 39 + 3. Unfortunately, Been induced due to my blood pressure being so high for the past two weeks. Just waiting for the first contraction to slap me in the mouth.

Very safe to say I am still a nervous wreck, can’t wait for hubby to be allowed in x

FirstTM2020 · 23/06/2020 19:33

Aww i see, ive been induced due to being on blood thinner injections from the start, had a previous blood clot in my lung years ago so couldn't go in to spontaneous labour due to the risk of bleeding too much...

Ive been so lucky my partners been allowed in from the start and is allowed to stay till we all go home, so annoying how different each nhs trust is🤦🏽‍♀️ xx

Oooh good luck! Love a live(ish) birth thread!

Babymumma01 · 23/06/2020 19:42

Ah I’m so sorry to hear that, fortunately my pregnancy has been extremely easy. Sending you love & care!

Yes, nhs on my side is very strict on it by the looks of things here. I’m an anxiety head as it is, still terrified of the thought of being numb from the epidural i’m most definitely going to result to Hmm x

FirstTM2020 · 23/06/2020 21:14

@Babymumma01 mine has also not been too bad too so its all good!

Ive started to get a lot of tightenings and period pain but not unmanageable pain. How about you? X

Claudia3771 · 23/06/2020 21:29

I'm getting induced just now as well!

38+5 due to reduced movements, I was given a 6hr pessary at 5:15pm and due again at 11:15pm. No pains or anything yet!

FirstTM2020 · 23/06/2020 23:35

Babymumma01 · 24/06/2020 07:22

I started having tightenings last night but nothing major!!
Hope you ladies are progressing, try to get a few naps in ! X

Mademoiselle14 · 24/06/2020 07:50

I was induced at about 11.30 last night with the 24 hour pessary. Found it surprisingly uncomfortable to have put in and am definitely a bit sore from it so I can see me going down the epidural route as well @FirstTM2020!

Nothing yet apart from some spotting and a bit of back ache (which could well be the hospital bed!)

Babymumma01 · 24/06/2020 08:28

Looks like you’re all making more progress than me aha. Please let me know how epidural goes if any of you opt for it Grin

Best of luck, not long now

Laylor · 24/06/2020 13:45

How are you all getting on? I'm itching to know x

Claudia3771 · 24/06/2020 14:37

Had a horrible night! 3rd pessary in, 1cm dilated (Angry) and his HR dropped below 70 for 2 mins... 5 times! They're still monitoring his HR now but I'm stressing like a mad woman Confused

How's everyone else?

Wolfgirrl · 24/06/2020 14:49

Is it your first babies?

@Claudia3771 that happened to me when I was induced but babys heartrate righted itself - I gather it is quite common. Fingers crossed!

Dyra · 24/06/2020 20:47

Hope all is going well with your inductions. ❤️

Claudia3771 · 24/06/2020 22:12
