I had a membrane sweep yesterday at 40+3, apparently my cervix was soft and open one end but closed the other. She said it was in the right position. The midwife did what she could but was encouraged by its position and was starting to soften up. I had the odd cramp yesterday but nothing came of it. This afternoon however I lost my mucus plug and it was huge, it was tinged with brown so I think that's a good sign? I've had a couple of cramps since but nothing much. I'm due to be induced on Sunday. Could it be likely that I might give before then? x
