butterflies - labour sign?

I'm 38+1, just been to hospital to see midwife who said the baby's head is 'deeply engaged', although looking online that seems to be normal for the last few weeks. I tend to have quite slow bowels, but have had 3x BM in the past 3 days, the last of these loose but not diarrhea (TMI! sorry!). I'm also feeling on edge, with mild butterflies. Anyone else had similar feeling and gone into labour quite soon afterwards?!

Wishful thinking I fear :-/ could just be psychosomatic plus all the dates I've been eating :-)

Hi, unfortunately I felt the same as you and still do at 40+2 now. I hope it's different for you though Smile I'm going for a sweep tomorrow so fingers crossed! x

Yup, not feeling so imminent today, lol. Might as well get some popcorn and settle in!
