I had c antibodies in my last pregnancy, we were convinced we were done as we've had some losses along the way and were happy with the two children we have. We found out I'm pregnant despite being on contraception but would like to go ahead with the pregnancy.
With my youngest I developed c antibodies which led her to having haemolytic disease. She was quite unwell and my levels rose quite quickly after 28 weeks meaning I ended up having cerebral artery scans 3 times a week and numerous CTGs and then being admitted to hospital from 35 weeks to monitor her progress. She stayed in NICU for a while although just missed out on an exchange transfusion.
Has anyone had antibodies in previous pregnancies and have the levels always risen faster in subsequent pregnancies? I cant find much literature about subsequent pregnancies with antibodies and my midwife had no idea at all.
