Hi all, I'm 36+1 pregnant and all day ive been having very painful tight feelings in the top of my stomach and round to the back, also feeling sick and diarrhoea. Over the last couple of weeks I've had a lot of discharge but no plug or show. Anyone have an advice, I really dont want to go into the hospital unnecessarily. Thank you.

Could be Braxton Hicks contractions?!
Keep a note of when you get the tightenings. If there seems to be a pattern, the baby could be getting ready to come, but this could still be days.

I've had the same symptoms but also had a bloody show this morning at 5:30 but nothing else going on yet except a few back aches / braxton hicks. Am 37+2.

Thank you for your replies, just got back from the assessment sweet and I've unfortunately got a uti 🤕 so they havent given me some antibiotics to help. They checked to see if my cervix was opening but it's still completely closed. Good luck, hope your not to much in pain.
