I love my c section scar. When I look at it it reminds me of how thankful I am to have a healthy little girl ❤️ what do you like about your postpartum bodies?

My hips are wider and my boobs are smaller which is win win as I always wanted wider hips and smaller boobs 👍🏻👍🏻

Natalie654321 · 24/05/2020 16:05

My wider hips!!

Dyra · 24/05/2020 17:22

I'm lighter than I was pre-pregnancy! Grin Whether or not I stay that way once baby stops breast feeding remains to be seen. FX.

Wider hips too.
And just a general feeling of ‘wow’ and ‘how??’ when I remember that my body used to house a baby Grin

I never liked my body. Even at my thinnest and most attractive I always felt lacking in some way. I love my body now - it's flabbier and stretchmark-y and I have a c section scar and massive leaky boobs BUT it has carried and birthed two beautiful little boys who I wouldn't be without.

Curvier. Actually an hourglass now. Feel very womanly. Smile Another one who also loves the c section scar!

SoftBlocks · 24/05/2020 19:45

I like my scar too!

RoLaren · 24/05/2020 19:48

Having spent years despising my body to the point of harming it, it conceived, carried and birthed three wondrous new people. I still don't like it, but I do now respect its achievement. I have a new favourite scar too!

The skin on my tummy is mega soft and nice to feel Grin

JenNtonic · 25/05/2020 05:50

Bogger boobs and nipples 😀

Lynda07 · 25/05/2020 05:56

Postpartum and post breastfeeding I became a skeleton for a while :-). Later on I addressed that and my figure improved tremendously. I like my body well enough.

Keha · 26/05/2020 17:12

I quite like my stretch marks, just such a permanent reminder of how big my belly got and what my body did.

Eggcellent29 · 26/05/2020 17:18

I am really struggling to find anything to like about my body, this thread is a lovely reminder of how other women look at the changes in a positive way!

ChilliMum · 26/05/2020 17:21

I was quite slim before my children what would be described as a boyish figure. I hated it all my life, never felt sexy or attractive.

Pregnancy was a revelation I grew curves and bumps everywhere and wore a bikini (without obligatory baggy t- shirt) for the first time at just over 4months.

That was 15 years ago and my curves are slightly sagging now, spreading to areas they have no right to be and rather wobbly but I love them and would never want to go back to that pre pregnancy body Smile

Sex doesn't hurt any more now I'm a bit, er, expanded.
