Is my c section classed as medical?

I have seen some other threads about elective c sections and if they are for medical reasons or down to mothers choice.
I had an emergency c section with my first daughter after a failed induction.
There will only be 16 months between c-sections so I have read that it is more risky having a VBAC (vaginal birth after c-section) as it will not be 18 months since I had my last c-section.
Will my c-section be classed as for medical reasons or will it be put down as personal preference?

Genuine question, why does it matter? You will be given the option and can't be compelled either way.

In my area they are giving priority c sections to mums who have medical reasons for a c section rather than just a preference for one.

You are making the choice based on a medical reason, I.e, a vbac would be more risky given the time frame. I would imagine that's a medical reason based on advice you've been given by medical professionals?

It depends- if your consultant recommends one, then it will be medical. If you ask for one and the consultant doesn’t think there is a need, then that would be elective.
