I have 2 questions...has anyone who had a c-section had to wear a mask during surgery?

Secondly, does anyone know if you can have a visitor if you have paid for a private room after birth? I know you’re not allowed visitors on shared ward at this time.

I had a section two weeks ago. I didn't have to wear a mask and neither did my birth partner, and I paid for a private room and the visiting rules for the rest of the ward still applied (one named visitor the whole stay, 2-6pm). Ring your hospital and check?
