Was your overhang better or worse after 2nd c section?

My first emergency section I was left with horrendous overhang right across from hip to hip

Even losing all the baby weight after doing VLCD it was still there

I’m having my second section in the coming weeks and wondering if I will be left with something worse or if there is a chance it might be slightly better

What has your experience been with second sections ?

Following and am in the same position as you. I had an emergency c section with my first. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant and am going to have an elective c section (due to medical reasons) and am worried my overhang is going to get loads worse 😭

Mine improved (although there due to just being fat), but first time round the surgeon had kind of stitched me up a wee bit squint. Second surgeon did a lovely job. First was an emergency, second was planned though, so I wonder if that makes a difference?

Don't quote me on this but I think I remember a midwife explaining to me that its really important to have good posture following the c section as soon as you can because hunching over can encourage over hang.

Mine was worse. Ended up having a tummy tuck and breast reduction and lift when my second was 10 months old. Best decision I ever made.
