Bloody Show?

So, 39 weeks and woke up having very intense period pain like cramps, and now seeing a pink mucus discharge. Will spare you the photo, but its pale pink.

Would anyone say that its likely to be the start of labour given I'm having the period like pains on and off? They're happening every 10-30 mins or so.

I'm 39+3 and had pinky mucus last night, which progressed to bloody. dark brown this morning

Could well be the start, though when I do a search actual going into labour seems to be all over the place! Period cramping can also often be a good sign of impending labour.

You'd think given this is DC4 I'd have it a little more sussed but its been different each time, never had a bloody show and the other three were all born after their due date!

Ooohhhh good luck. I'm off to get checked as I'm pretty sure my waters have broken, just trickling out though. No massive gush like in the films!

Ooh very exciting! Both my labours started with period like cramping. I had a more obvious bloody show with DC2 and none with DC1 until much further on. Good luck!
