Getting labour started

Can anyone help I'm 40+2 and just want my baby here! Has anyone got any tips to bring my labour on I've tried everything and still nothing

If you find out the way to do it, please let me know haha I’ve been drinking raspberry leaf tea, massage, laughing (for the oxytocin), curries, walk, bouncing on the birth ball, clary sage, sex, nipple stimulation and sweet jesus nothing has worked!

They say ‘they come when they’re ready’ and i think I’m finally coming round to that way of thinking 😭

Let me know if anything works! 40+4 and fed up. Was induced early with DS1 so have never been this pregnant, nor gone into labour spontaneously. Have bounced on ball, had sex, taken raspberry leaf and evening primrose oil, walked around... I had a sweep on Saturday and midwife said I was 2cms dilated and things looked good so not sure why nothing is happening

My baby is 10 weeks old and like you I was over due by 5 days. I woke in the night with severe heartburn I've been suffering for months with and screamed at my husband 'this baby needs to come out' my friend told me to tweak my nipples so I thought I'd do one better and use my breast pump. I sat down quietly on our newish light blue settee (struggling TTC so never thought we would have children hence the stupid colour 🙄🙄) and started using the breast pump and I kid you not 5 minutes later I felt really mild period pains and thought oh is this it, stood up and my waters burst everywhere. All over said settee. All over new gray rug. Nobody believes me when I tell them but it happened just like that. Baby still didnt arrive until the following day though but I was in labour. Get on those nipples x

Hi ladies I went into labour a couple of hours after this post and had my little girl on 4/5/20 at 4.21pm if i can advise anything it's bounce on a ball, have sex and drink pineapple juice that's what I did and it seemed to bring her along although she could have just been ready to come when she did, hoping your bundles of joy arrive soon

I was overdue as well, a really long walk (2 hours) in the evening, waters broke next morning.

Please avoid ingesting non-foods, there have been some tragic stories on this board, one was castor oil, with terrible outcome.
