Is this normal Braxton Hicks?

Hi,

I'm 32+5 weeks and got my first Braxton Hicks a week or so ago. In the past 12 hours I've had mild cramps, on and off and through the night too. Is this normal for Braxton Hicks? No other signs or symptoms just cramping and baby is as active as ever. xx

My BH is mainly tightening in the bump and feels a bit like the baby is burrowing down the bottom part of my bump. I don't normally get any cramping with mine.

Hope others can share their experience too.

Yeah that's what I experienced last week, it was tightening across my tummy so that's why I'm wondering if these cramps are Braxton Hicks too. Confused x

Give your midwife a bell - I rang mine a couple of weeks ago as had the cramps for hours and she went through a list of questions and reassured me that it was likely Braxton Hicks but if the pain intensified or I had any change in discharge to come straight in. She also said to drink tonnes of water as dehydration can effect your muscles and cause Braxton Hicks. I drank a litre of water and they eased so basically I was dehydrated.

I get tightenings every day now (34 weeks) but no pain - again think it's pretty normal. I've taken to wearing a panty liner now though just in case something shifts down there (sorry, probably TMI but I think pregnancy does that!)
