EC or VB when I have a rectovaginal fistula

I’m considering having an elective C section as I have a rectovaginal fistula (a hole between the bowel and the vagina).
I’m worried that VB could cause the hold to tear even larger and cause more problems! Potentially incontinence in the future. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I’ve read up on people that have had 3d tears in first birth and then gone on to have an ok second birth, I think tears are similar to fistulas.
No idea what to do this is my first pregnancy. I just want to know what’s best and less risk- although both seem risky in their own ways.
Any help appreciated x
