Successful sweep stories??

Please only successful ones to make me a little bit hopeful. I want to hear the ones where it worked :)

I'm 40+1 tomorrow and have a sweep at 9am. Bubba is 1/5 engaged and I've been losing loads of mucus plug so I'm assuming by now I've gotta be at least a little dilated.

Hoping it works because I'm a small girl and he's getting pretty big 🤞🏼🙏🏻

I had a sweep at my 40 week appointment - went into labour 22 hours later and born at 40+3

I'd a sweep on my 3rd & went into labour 2 days later. My doctor predicted that he'd be seeing me within 48 hours! Impressive! (I was a bit dilated at the point he did the sweep which helped).

I’ve had 2 sweeps. Both babies born within 24 hours ☺️

The sweep with DC1 was attempted at 40+3. Done by a consultant at the hospital who advised me that although he had tried his best, he felt I was showing absolutely no signs of the baby coming and his honest opinion was that I’d probably end up being induced. The same consultant delivered the baby the next morning.

Good luck ☺️
