So I recently had a C Section 12 days ago after a failed induction. Baby was quite marked up after and when I checked notes, forceps had been used to remove him. I got quite poorly athe day after and was rushed back to labour ward for one on one care. I was told I had developed an infection and was on 7 different antibiotics and they reinstated my catheter. After responding well after 72 hours they moved me to oral antibiotics and discharged me 8 days after birth on one lot of antibiotics. Since I have been home I have an increased pain in my abdomen at the top left hand side, like a stitch that if i get up turns to stabbing pains. My antibiotics are now finished. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this? TIA
