So I'm finally in labour, contractions are (at the moment) like seriously horrible period pains in bottom of bump and in my back that I have to shut my eyes and breathe through. Keep feeling like I need a poo too. DH is currently snoring away upstairs 🙄 wish me luck!

Ooh how exciting!! Good luck!! My partner fell asleep in the delivery room (I was induced) and I remember screaming at my mum to kick him awake when he wouldn't wake up for the midwives 😂
How far apart are you?

Not really timing them at the moment as they just seem to be abit all over. DS only took 5 hours so hopefully I'm not in for a long slog, all DCs seem to come at night when I'm already tired

Fingers crossed baby is here soon and you get some sleep 🤞
I fell asleep using gas and air so hopefully some painkillers help you too!

Good luck! I also had quick labours with both Dc just make sure you don’t cut it too fine to get to the hospital :)

Thanks for the replies wasn't sure if anyone would be around to answer. Timed contractions for a bit as best I could they're coming around every 3 minutes but only lasting about 40 seconds. Not sure when to go in to hospital as by the time someone is here for other DCs and I get to hospital don't know how well I'll be coping without any pain relief 😣

If you haven't gone yet I'd probably go now, could a neighbour keep an ear out until somebody arrives to look after the children?

Good luck Sprite! We’re all ready for you to share good news with us x

DD arrived at 4.37 this morning weighing in at an eye watering 9lb 2. Bloody midwife didn't believe I was in 'proper' labour and took the gas and air away next thing she's having to rush putting on gloves etc as I'm pushing her out 🙄 all well with me and baby though, just very sore and tired
