What was the process? We're there any elements of standard induction that you had to avoid because of having a previous c section?

Yes I did, I think the difference is you go straight to having a drip but don't know anything about the steps that would be taken (in between) if it wasn't a vbac.

Yes me. I had a propess pessary in at 8pm, contracted all night, propess fell out at 8am, waters broken at 10am, epidural at 1pm, 4cm at 2pm, fully dilated at 9pm and synto Drip started at about same time at my request as was only contracting 1-2:10. Had an SVD at 1.07am.

My trust offer propess or balloon for VBAC induction. I work here also as a midwife and we induce a lot of VBAC ladies

Hi @Mummyme87 can I ask how the balloon usually works out - do more people opt for the pessary? I’ve been offered just the balloon, as far as I know, but feel quite anxious about the pain/discomfort!

Yes 5 times. Each time they have just broken my waters. Each time I have delivered safely. I had 2 spontaneous vbac's before my first induced one. 8 babies in total - 1st was emcs, 2nd was spontaneous Labour forceps delivery, 3rd was spontaneous labour and unassisted delivery, 4-8 induced labour and unassisted deliveries.

I've never required a drip to augment contractions .
