There should be a maternity Voices Partnership in most areas of the country. They are there to do exactly as you described.... help improve maternity services in that area. It's a group of service users (anyone who has used the maternity services - not just the women who gave birth!) as well as healthcare professionals like midwives, doctors and anyone who has an interest in maternity services. They gather feedback on people's experiences and then use it to make positive changes

There is and most of the trust has mvp
But the big issue is we can not engage service user it has been so difficult to reach out to them
Most of the women never heard of their mvp and it’s so sad
MVP is team of women and their families, commissioners and providers (midwives and doctors) working together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care.

Hopefully North Mid will have improved on 6 years ago - the midwife sent me down to the ward for 6 hours when I was supposed to be sent home a couple of hours after my daughter was born.

Also, her rowing with the student midwife whilst I was pushing was great fun.
