VBAC waterbirth? New NICE guidelines?

I was reading the NICE guidelines recently and they seemed to say that VBAC women should be allowed to have a water birth if there are no contra indications and that CFM is not necessary.

Does anyone have experience of this yet as it would be wonderful!

To be able to have a waterbirth for my VBAC and not be strapped down for CFM would be amazing!

I wS advised by a consultant I could have a vbac water birth with telemetry monitoring.

I've since been signed off to birth on mdiwife led unit with intermittent monitoring
