Fractured ribs at 40 weeks! SOS.

So yesterday I fractured a rib while sneezing (I have Pregnancey induced asthma) I'm super sensitive to allergens.i had a sweep yesterday as well, my boy should be here soon . I can't blow my nose without being in tears this is my first baby and I'm terrified of labour now. Any tips? I'm 40 weeks today.

Oh goodness! I had this from a riding accident... have they checked it is actually a fracture? It must have been one hell of a sneeze.

I would discuss it with your midwife if you see her or with the midwife as soon as you arrive. There is a lot they can do for pain, so as long as you are not adverse to taking pain relief?

Try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know!).

First babies are often late, so hopefully you have a few days for it to heal a bit too.
