Has anyone had any experience of their 2nd/3rd etc baby measuring big after you've already had a c section?
Baby number 2 was measuring way above the 95th centile at my 28week growth scan. I've got another scan this week (32 weeks) but I'm wondering whether it will affect my delivery options if she still looks big. I'm planning for a VBAC and I know that growth scans are notoriously inaccurate so I'm trying not to worry about it too much but just wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience. The consultant had previously said they wouldn't want me to go past 41 weeks due to the increased risk of uterine rupture as baby gets bigger so if she's already looking big are they likely to bring that forward and try to induce early? I'd like to avoid a c section if possible and they currently have no other concerns around induction as an option if I end up going over.
Hope that all makes sense. I'm sure there must be plenty of people who have had similar situations!
