Bearing down pain

So I'm 37+4 with a breech baby. Have a c section booked for 39 weeks. But today I'm getting lots of bearing down type pain and shooting nerve pain down my hips and bum. I've just gone to the toilet to open my bowels (sorry tmi) which were soft, and the bearing down pain with horrid, it felt like I was actually going to push the baby out. Is this a sign labour is near?

We know you posted this yesterday, @pai10, so things may have moved on now but hopefully someone will be along soon with useful advice.

And best of luck from all of us at MNHQ. Flowers

I'd give your midwife a ring @pai10 and explain it to them just to be on the safe side

Hope all is ok and you’re cuddling your bubba now Smile
