Finally lost plug!

Please bear with some TMI but feel like having a party as at 40+5, I've finally lost my plug this morning 😂 (makes me happy as I've had two failed sweeps so far due to cervix still being thick and long and booked for induction on Thursday).

So, yes, yesterday did lots of hand expressing which made my stomach feel a little odd but nothing definite. Woke up at 4am feeling very restless and this morning had to use the loo (sorry!) which also lost me my plug in a large go with some brown blood in it.

I know plug loss doesn't always guarantee it will be immediate, but hoping maybe it will mean something at this point! How long was it for you?

With DC 1 it was pretty much right away after my morning sweep, went to the loo around lunchtime and it was there, came that evening. With dc2 I lost it at tea time and woke up in the early hours that night in full blown labour, born just after dawn. DC 3 was section so never lost it. Good luck, hope this is it for you today

I'm getting induced Thursday too. Unfortunately I lost my mucus plug over a week ago and I'm still here pregnant so I wouldn't read too much into it.
