I'm due a sweep tomorrow but today I've been having tightnings 7-6 mins apart with the occasional 10 min interval. They're uncomfortable but not painful so I don't think I need to rush off to the hospital. My waters haven't went or anything. Could it just be BH? I'm 39 weeks today second baby. I never had this waiting about with my first. My waters broke and there was meconium so we had to go straight in that time.

See how you go try a bath or changing positions if it's Braxton Hicks this should stop them as they have no real pattern and arnt painful if your still same in a few hours you could always ring triarge see what they say.

So I had a bath and it seems to have slowed them so I'm gonna see how I go tonight

I was advised to contact the hospital when I had three contractions in ten minutes and this pattern had lasted an hour.

Just be a bit careful with baby 2-I was overly cautious about going in too early and delivered at home (very much unplanned!). Best of luck

Most people's waters don't break until they are well into labour so don't sit at home waiting until they break! However I would try and get as much sleep as you can tonight, you will know when you are in labour! But sounds like labour is not far off. Good luck!
