Aromatherapy in labour

Has anybody used aromatherapy in labour? If so, what oils did you use? I'm planning a water birth

Clary sage and lavender I've ready are meant to be really good, Neals yard do a nice nighttime blend which has both!

I used clary sage going into labour to help strengthen my contractions. Popped some over a warm wet flannel and laid it on my bump in a warm bath. I also had some lavender oil which I breathed in at height of transition to calm. I used coconut oil and echinacea powder on my wounds/tears afterwards
