Do period like pains really mean anything?

For about a week I've had like on and off period pains, today they seem to be getting stronger like when your first pregnant and it hurts cos everything is really stretching (plus I usually have quite bad period pains anyway) is it more likely that its still just that same old stretching rather then anything labour related? I'm only just 34 weeks and with other 2 DCs I slept through the very early stages so no idea if I had similar feelings or not

Labour started for me with crampy pains, but then my waters broke so it was obviously labour.

You can phone the midwife if you are worried? 34 weeks is early best to be safe than sorry x

My 'early labour' before contractions was just my bump going hard but they were regular the next morning I woke up with contractions

Agree with pp I'd ring your midwife team for some monitoring just to check

My births always states with period pains. It’s funny how I even questioned it third time around. It wasn’t until my water broke that I knew it was real and happening. I was two weeks early though so perhaps in denial.
