Do they cut a new incision or use same scar? Mine was due to failure to progress and trying to work out whether would have another one next time.

They cut through your previous scar (or at least they did in my case!)

Same scar here, although I think the surgeon said she’d cut out the old scar - the old one was wonky at one end, which means this one will be too.

They cut through my old scar. I had a keloid scar and they spent ages cutting it away so my new scar is less noticeable.
