Slowed growth and being induced??

Hi so looking for some advice or similar stories. @ 31+5 I had a scan which showed baby at approx 4lb 9 I had my 35 +5 weeks growth scan today and he's approx 6lb 4 so that's like 1 lb 6 oz growth in four weeks. They have booked me in for another growth scan in two weeks time because they have said he is a healthy weight (big boy) but growth has slowed. What I'm wondering is surely if he grows the same and they decide to induce me when will it be? And surely if he grows rapidly and ends up being like 8 lb by then won't they induce me anyway otherwise it will be like birthing a toddler haha and I'm only small myself.

Any advise Experience welcome ;)

Hi same happened with me they offered me induction based on slower growth and reduced movement at 38 weeks as cannot induce before that.. induction was horrendous 52 hours ended with emergency csection as he wasn't ready to come out lol I would avoid if I had the choice again. He was born 38+6 8 lb

Sorry if it's not what you wanted to hear xx
