Induced Labour

I'm currently 37 weeks and waiting on my date for being induced. I was advised to allow 4 days for the whole process, start to finish. Can anyone share their stories or familiar experiences?

I had growth scans fortnightly and she was consistently below the tenth centile so I was induced at 37+4.
I was 1cm with a difficult posterior cervix when they put the first pessary in. 6 hours later and no developments I had another pessary inserted. Used this time to bounce loads on the ball and walk laps of the hospital grounds. Felt very slight cramps at this stage not painful.
After 6 hours they were able to break my waters, I was 3cm at this point.
All hell broke loose and baby was born 2.5 hours later. As soon as I stood up after my waters broke the pains were incredible she must have just needed that to happen to come down. No time for anything except gas and air.
All in all a quick positive induction. I needed an episiotomy and she was 5lb 3oz but I've healed amazingly.
