I had a sweep at 40+3 and went into labour the next day. I think it would have happened soon anyway though as I was already 2-3cm dilated at the sweep.

I had two sweeps, one on my due date and another a week later. Neither worked unfortunately and I had to be induced at 42 weeks.

I wouldn't bother to be honest, I had a few as both my DS were very overdue. They are uncomfortable and unless you are on the cusp of going in to labour anyway they don't seem to work.

I had one attempted at around 40+2 but my cervix was still closed so the midwife arranged to do a home visit on 41weeks but never turned up.
I went into labour that night!

I have 3, first one They couldn't actually do as baby was too low and covering the cervix. Second one didn't work and third I went into labour the next day after being 9 days overdue. I also had pregnancy inducing reflexology which I felt really help as not only was I relaxed I smelt great haha. But I honestly think spending 2 days non stop bouncing on my my ruddy ball is what did it in the end!
