I’m almost four weeks post Emcs and having urges.
Anyone the same/experienced it?

Lol well I didn't wait as long as you. With my first child emcs it was 10 days, so as soon as I stopped bleeding. My second was a planned csec and I waited 16 days again as soon as I stopped bleeding. Just be careful of your stitches, but I would say you feel up to it go for it 😁

Redpepperdip · 22/01/2020 19:28

@cooper88 I’ve only waited this long as I’m still bleeding lightly.. Sad

But thank you for replying! X

Many years ago, a 10lb breech baby and too many stitches to count...... about 7 months!

golddustwomen · 22/01/2020 19:35

5 weeks with my first and 6 weeks with my second.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 22/01/2020 19:36

3 weeks

Lunafortheloveogod · 22/01/2020 19:37

I’d be 8weeks pp with forceps but stopped bleeding by 6, kept thinking 6 but maths proves me wrong.. I’m now 32 weeks pregnant again.. it was uncomfortable and I never got back on the horse.

Make sure you’re both wearing helmets BlushGrin

2 weeks after my section

allfurcoatnoknickers · 23/01/2020 15:30

8 weeks. Doctor told me I was at risk of infection if we did it any earlier than 6 weeks. Bleeding, leaking boobs and the extra stone I was lugging around did not make me feel in the least bit sexy Sad.

peanutdust · 24/01/2020 13:19

Ten days it felt amazing

greeneyedlulu · 24/01/2020 13:24

About 8 weeks with my first but had heaving bleeding and then 6 weeks with my second.
As long as you feel ok then go for it

MeadowHay · 26/01/2020 17:03

Haha. Close to 9 months here. I had a long physical and mental recovery.

BrittanyDH1006 · 27/01/2020 16:49

I waited the full 6 weeks. I am now 4 months postpartum and it's still painful for me to have sex. I tore and my perineum is very very tender. Feels like my first time having sex every time and it hurts.

99problemsandthecatis1 · 27/01/2020 20:49

@BrittanyDH1006 have you had that checked out? I had that after my first delivery (vaginal) and a women's health physio really helped.

FrancesV83 · 30/01/2020 22:20

3 weeks and that was after an episiotomy, it felt tender but otherwise fine

Groovee · 30/01/2020 22:21

After Dd and some strange stitching 7 months.

After Ds, 2 weeks!

AudacityOfHope · 30/01/2020 22:26

After my first about 3 days!

After my second, months. We were both broken by having two babies in two years.

3 months. I'd personally never do it before the 6 weeks because of the risks.
