Currently in 3rd trimester with my first and suffer from an anxiety disorder (came off medication at start of pregnancy.) I’d be interested in hearing from fellow sufferers about how you coped with your anxiety during labour.

Hi, I didn't stop my medication but I did switch to a different one while I was pregnant. I made sure I was very organised and knew as much as possible about what was going to happen. I was honest with my midwife about my anxiety too. No real advice other than that. Actually I surprised myself with how well I coped. I think I was so focused on what was happening I didn't have time to panic.

I found it harder in the weeks after as lack of sleep usually makes me worse, so be aware of that if you are the same x
