Northampton general - private rooms?

Hi

Does anyone know if NGH have private rooms on the post natal wards?

I’ve got a c section in a few weeks and ideally would want a private room after if any were available at the time

I know in some hospitals they have them and you can pay for them but I can’t find anything on google about this

My midwife isn’t sure as I’m actually under the care of a midwife from a different hospital but will still be giving birth at Northampton

Yes they do, I had one there. I don't know what the procedure is for getting one though, I was just placed in one.

They do have private rooms, I think there are approx three on Balmoral and Windsor and two on Robert Watson. From memory they can't be booked though and it's luck of the draw.... Worth checking with your midwife though
